What is the process?

Step 1

Book an appointment

You can request an appointment online or get in touch with us by phone.

Online

Complete the online appointment request form and upload your referral. We’ll be in touch within two business hours of receiving your referral.

Simply call our booking staff on 07 5436 0888 and we’ll schedule your appointment.

Step 2

Prepare and attend

Depending on the examination or procedure, you may be asked to fast or drink water beforehand. It’s important to adhere to these preparation instructions and arrive at the clinic 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary paperwork.

Step 3

Speak to your doctor

Once our radiologist has issued your imaging report, we’ll send it directly to your referring health professional. This is normally between 24 – 48 hours following your appointment. Your health professional will then discuss your results with you directly.

You do not require an appointment for an x-ray, as these are performed as a walk-in service.
All other examinations and procedures are by appointment only.
We often have availability for last-minute appointments, and always endeavour to accommodate any urgent examinations on the same day.

X-Ray & Imaging bulk bills most Medicare eligible diagnostic examinations, however, there are a small number of examinations where an out-of-pocket expense will be incurred.
Our booking consultants will advise you at the time of booking if your examination or procedure will incur an out-of-pocket fee.

At the time of scheduling your appointment, our booking staff consultants will advise you whether there is any specific preparation required for your scan.
For patients undergoing interventional procedures, it is always recommended that you bring someone with you to drive you home.
